Live in Tokyo - Dead on Arrival

What a great CD this almost was! Thought I'd found a treasure, but this is closer to trash. If the producer of this CD had spent a couple of bucks and cleaned up the sound, this Sinatra performance would have been another to put proudly on the shelf with your other Sinatra CD's. Instead you're left with another great Sinatra performance that sounds uncannily like a worn out, warped cassette tape that's been played way too many times over the magnetized heads of your car's tape player after you'd regularly left it on the dash in the 110 degree summer heat.

I really hate to say this, but give this one a pass. Spend your money on a quality Sinatra recording. This isn't one of them - and it could have been. I can only hope that someday the proper people will get the rights to the master tape and clean it up properly.
