Tracklist of Our Newest Album Ever!
Reviews:
It all began with this album
It all started when i was bored and went rummaging through my brother's CDs. As a pre-teen i hadn't found a kind of music i particularly liked but i remembered my brother getting Newest Album Ever as a present so i listened to it - and fell in love with Five Iron Frenzy. I thought it was so kool that a rock band had horn instruments. 5-Iron is definitely my favorite band and Newest Album Ever is very nearly my favorite album. You can't go wrong with the subtle humor in Suckerpunch and Superpowers and the hard rocking of Handbook For The Sellout and Fistful of Sand. Plus FIF goes all out in their love for God with Every New Day, one of the best songs i've ever heard. BUY THIS ALBUM U WILL NOT REGRET IT - SKA ALL THE WAY
Music with a Smile!
In simplest terms, BUY THIS ALBUM. These guys are unbeliveable. The energy they put into it will keep this CD in your boombox for a long time. Unbeliveable album. Favorites: Canada Song, Superpowers, Every New Day, Suckerpunch, and Where is Micah? If you only wanted to get one album from 5 iron frenzy, this would be the album.
This is without a doubt the best FIF album, & one of the...
The BEST CD'S OF ALL TIME! I'm not lieing when I say that this album came to me at a time of a real depression. I had FIF's first album, Upbeats & Beatdowns, and I was really excited about this album. It helped me through a lot of difficult times being a pre-teen, and now looking back on it, almost ten years ago, I still listen to this album on a regular bases. The only song on this album that I do not like is track 9. The rest of the album just has an amazing muscial oddessy that everyone will enjoy. I'll go in order of the track listing:
Handbook For The Sellout: 10/10: Amazing opener for any album
Where is Micah? 8/10: Good song, not the most catchy though
Superheros 9/10: Good song, funny lyrics
Fistful of Sand: 10/10: Amazing song, not a good one live though
Suckerpunch 10/10: A very fun song, fun lyrics, and fun live
Kitty-Doggy 10/10: Fun song, very short old demo song taken from a previous live show.
Blue Comb 78' 10/10: Perhaps one of the best songs FIF has ever recorded, this song is a very good song, slower, but has very good lyrics and is overall very fun and intriguing.
Banner Year: 10/10: More upbeat then the last song, has good lyrics and very upbeat and good sounding, pleasing to the ears.
Seasons (forgot the name of it): 5/10: the least best song of this album, feels like a filler for the cd
Litmus 10/10: Very good song, good lyrics, and fun.
Oh Canada! 10/10: One of the most fun FIF songs, and very fun lyrics.
Most Likely to Succeed 9/10: A very good song, not very uplifting, but it's very very good overall.
Every New Day Infinate/10: The best song that FIF has ever recorded, the most popular and most favorite of any FIF fan. A Truly amazing song with amazing lyrics.
Overall I would say, now that FIF is over, if your new to this band, definitly start with this cd, then get "The End is Here" for I find that to be the 2nd best FIF cd over all their cd's. I have all of thier cd's and they were definitly the best christian band ever!
