Reviews:

B-sides are B-sides for a reason

I am an occasional FIF fan - I particularly enjoyed the "all the hype" album. There's lots of great songs on that album, and I still listen to it all the time. Their live album is really good as well.

I picked up this album because I hadn't heard anything new from these guys for awhile, and I have to say that I was quite disappointed.

This isn't as much an "album" as a collection of stuff that the group had laying around - old recordings of stuff, recordings of the members of the group just goofing around, stuff that wasn't good enough to be released on an official album.

B-sides are left off of most discs because they aren't very good. Unless you are a hardcore FIF fan, I'd suggest you look to some of their other releases to find some good music.

i'm going to puke!

This is the worst album you will ever hear in your entire life. I hope you hate it.

The never-ending, perpetual, quirkiness of FIF continues...

Okaaaaay! What can I say about this album? Oh, maybe that it is: the FUNNIEST CD I'VE EVER HEARD!!! (Oh sorry, didn't mean to yell-:O) To some of you, it may be nothing but stupid nonsense, but to me, this is stupid nonsense AND a masterpiece, or should I say a DISASTERpiece (in a good way!).

Cheeses is all of Five Iron's unreleased B-sides, along with some popular songs, like Old West and Cool Enough for You. Most of the songs are new, others old, yet all funny in a corny-old-horror-movie kind of way. My favorites:

-Rhubarb Pie

-Four Kids in Memphis

-all the Abraham Lincoln Beard Movements

-Praise the Lord

-No Grandma=Know Grandma

-Pootermobile

-Metal Rules!

(By the list above, you can probably tell I'm a pretty weird kid (I'm 12). I may be weird to you, but I'm proud...sort of.)

Anyway, back to my review: The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is some of the songs get pretty annoying. It still is FUNNY, though.

If you've been a FIF fan for a long time, get this CD. If you've never heard of FIF and you like ska, I suggest you check out either Upbeats and Beatdowns OR Quantity is Job #1 (both by FIF), just to get you started. Or if you wanna be happy, laughing, and having good time, this album is for you.

NOTE: Five Iron and its associates are not responsible for the downright distasteful, yet suprisingly hilarious songs put on this CD or for death caused by laughing too much.

NOTE: No harm was intended in this review
