fettes brot is really good

Fettes Brot has something , but I can't put my finger on it. I am not a big fan of hip-hop yet I enjoy listening to these guys for hours. They first caught my attention when i first moved to Germany. As I gradually learned the language I began to like them more and more. When I moved back over here to the states, I relized how well they're lyrics were compared to any of the U.S. songs, hip-hop or not. But it is more than just that. The sound of their voices combined with their beats just make you want you want to bob your head to the music and listen to it over and over again. And unlike any other group or band I have ever heard I never seem to get tired of their songs. I definitly reccommend this album.

im german, and from Hamburg, the city from which fettes brot originates. this record is obviously amazing, since every review on here has 4 or more stars (and most of u dont even speak english).



but im just here to give all of u a message: if your reading this right now, download "Fettes Brot - Jein". PLEASE, JUST DO IT, I AM BEGGING YOU. I showed it to an american friend of mine, and its his favorite song of all time (and he listens to all kinds of sh**).

Great Hip Hop - both in terms of music and lyrics

The reviews of Americans who do not understand many of the lyrics of this record are proof enough: This CD by Fettes Brot works even if you don't understand what they are singing. But I can tell you: The great music on this record is even being topped by the meaning of the lyrics. I always envy Americans for understanding English Pop/Rock lyrics better than a German can do - no matter how long he has learned the foreign language at school or University. But in this case, I am happy to understand both music and words of such great pieces as "Viele Wege f?hren nach Rom" and "Spider Man". But, as I said: You can feel just from listening to the music, what kind of love song "Rom" is.
