A Little Faith

Bad Boy's debut first lady Faith released a self-titled classic that sort of mirrored Mary J. Blige whom was featured on the remake of "Love Don't Live Here Anymore". This album is mellow with love songs to lead to the bedroom as the inviting "Come Over". It's hard to doubt any album when even the interludes are strong enough to capture some emotion as the dedication "You Are My Joy (Interlude)". Held down by the same producers that made Mary a standout, Herb Middleton and Chucky Thompson created a formula that did Faith well. By the time you get to the closing of this album Faith will have you making that late night phone call to your lover. "Don't Be Afraid", a personal favoriate, has everything you need to set the mood on any given evening. After all that has happened by the time you get to "Reasons", you'll now have a reason to repeat the whole thing including your night.

I've over estimated this is album is good as the others! I love all the slow cuts, "all this love" list goes on.



And "Reasons", girl has some slow cuts on here... This cd defintely gets the mood right.



Oh, if you haven't already pick up her new album "First Lady," it's on fiyah.

Simply Amazing

This album has been with me for many years. The work is so spectacular. I recommend this album to anyone who can respect the feel of real soul. Faith Evans puts her heart, soul and foot into this debut work. She is absolutely amazing. I tell you now, this album is pure fire and desire. If you treasure great, classic music then purchase this album. You will not be disappointed and you will be hard pressed to find another album as good.
