Reviews:

I Liked the album version better:

"Fingers & Thumbs (Cold Summer's Day)" is one of my favorite Erasure songs of all, and I was thrilled when I bought this. The Tin Tin Out Remix was the only version I really liked and at 8+ minutes was a little much. The Electrofinger Remix was fair. I wished they would've stayed closer to the album version and used more of the lyrics cuz they're excellent. Some of the versions just lost me after a while.

typical erasure helped by snappy remix

This is your basic Erasure track, strong vocals, lots of bleeps and blips, and a chorus that gets stuck in your head for weeks. The reason to pick this one up, is the Tin Tin Out remix, it keeps all of the vocals intact and adds a ton of energy to make it very accessable for the dancefloor. Easily my favorite Erasure single.
