Reviews:

Best music ever!!

If you are a rap fan I really recomend you get this cd. Some people say his lyrics are just a little extreme, but it is still a very good album, especially for Eminem fans.

Classic debut not classic album classic debut

for a debut em does it like a pro could of been better but like it or not eminem saved rap it was going no where til now

Great debut

this is probably Em's best album lyrically and just the best. its weird to me how his voice got deeper instead of that nasally voice in this one. every song is good even though I'm shady and cum on everybody sound alike and get annoying after a while. the best songs are: still dont give a, just dont give a, as the world turns, bad meets evil, and role model. im out

Pretty darn good

Let me start off by saying that I am an ex-Eminem fan. I still like his music, but his lyrics just got too extreme for me. That said, this album is worth getting, for the music ONLY. Every song has a great beat and great tunes. If you can find an instrumental version of the CD, get that.

Where it all started...the best came first

Ok, first of all, this is Eminem's best album. Sure, he has matured and become a faaaaar better lyricist, but it all went downhill when he started making his own beats. Now, all his songs sound the same and all have that damn synthetic clarinet in it! This album is friggen RAW! The lyrics are raw, the beats are raw his flow is raw. This is as god as Eminem gets. On top of that, this album is friggen ridiculous because Marshall didn't have to worry about what he said when he recorded this. No political songs, no rap beefs none of that. This is a true clssic album and is the only reason Eminem is as popular as he is today. Marshall Mathers LP was a decent album too but the other 2 shouldn't even be comapred to these two albums. People who don't like or don't understand these albums are those who are into comemrcial Eminem. This remains a classic and was one the day it came out. It is because of this album that I respect Eminem, it's that genious. Put down Slim Shady LP and Encore and pick this one up or just buy one of the two cause they pretty much sound the same.
