Elvis Is Still Rockin Tonight

This is a great CD, a very well produced collaboration between two time periods. The instrumentation played in the new millenium provided by members of the String Cats and Stray Cats, which replaces Scotty Moore and Bill Black, goes really well with Elvis's live performance pieces from the mid 50s. I am amazed how well done this is, especially the first two songs which seem flawless. The new back-up band from the present breathes new life to Elvis's classic hits from his rockabilly days. My only complaint is that this CD has far too few songs. I would love to hear more of Elvis's hit rock n' roll songs from the 50s get similar treatment from rockabilly artists of today. Anyway, it's great to listen too and I enjoy the new treatment to these songs a lot. Elvis will rock the house forever.
