This CD collection is packaged in two separate crystals and enveloped together in one box.

Dinah certainly outdoes Billie Holiday and is akin to Nancy Wilson.

Words to describe these two CDs are not enough and escape me.

I was horrified to learn that Dinah died in 1963 at the age of 39 from a drug overdose after seven marriages.

On these disks, she is fully in command and in full flower.

Her loss is a loss for American music in general. It would have been great to see her in concert.
