Complaint #1: BAD SOUND! Whoever remastered this used noise reduction which is an absolute no-no. The result is an icy, glassy, slightly robotic sound that is audibly discernible. As the songs fade out, it sounds like seagulls are flying away! Where is the guru Bill Inglot when you need him?
Complaint #2: Bad track selection! In fact, it is an INACCURATE track selection! Disc 3 features 6 songs by The Supremes after Diana Ross left the group. This is bizarre and unfair to both Diana Ross AND The Supremes. True fans know who sang which songs, but what a disservice to do something like this, and not even mention it in the (skimpy) liner notes.
In summary, if you want a great 2-disc set of Diana Ross, get "The Motown Anthology" (released in 2001). And if you want a good 2-disc set of the 70s Supremes, get "The Supremes: The 70s Anthology" (2002).
