Home's Grantby Mix Rivals Original!

Every once in a while a remix will be made of an already great song and still be just as good (if not better). This single of Home includes the dark and mysterious Grantby Mix which is both moody and hypnotic. Concentrating on the chorus theme of the original version and using that as the center drive for this remix, Grantby sustains a unique landscape of gothic allure, complemented by Martin Gore's singing as both lyrics and music bring a sense of darkness to light and back again. I highly recommend this version to anyone who really enjoys the darker side of DM. Also included on this disc is the Jedi Knights remix of Home (Drowning In Time) which is interesting and worth a listen, but to me, doesn't really sound much like Home at all. But another important reason to add this disc to your collection are the cool Live versions of Barrel Of A Gun & It's No Good, recorded at the Adrenalin Village on April 10th, 1997 (during their short promoting of Ultra). After 'Barrel ends, Dave says, "Thank You!....And welcome to our party". Thanks, Dave. We've enjoyed every minute of it!
