Goodnight Lovers is the 4th single for DM's Exciter album for some nations. No effort is provided with the first track. Unlike most of their singles, the single version of Goodnight Lovers is simply the album version(3:50). But another take on the song is track four, Goodnight Lovers - ISAN FALLING LEAF MIX(5:53), which has extra water rippling effects added at start and end. Adds to the mellow feel of this release. Then what is in line with this release is When The Body Speaks - ACOUSTIC VERSION(6:02). A beautiful track that is identical to the album version, only without the use of any electronics. In between is track three The Dead Of Night - ELECTRONICAT REMIX (7:38), which goes in a completely distorted direction, using a repetitive bass & treble note combination with a reverb so loud that even the singing can barely be heard. It is a step back from the shorter album EXCITER version. Would have enjoyed EASY TIGER remixes here from other remixes to keep the mellow feel. CAN SEE why the US did not get a release. No dance club feel here! But for collectors this release shows that the band is talented stripped down.
