Demis the great

This album, was one of Demis Roussos greatest albums of the 70'S as I have been told. It went to no. 4 in the UK Album Chart. Happy to be on island in the Sun went to the UK Top 5 in 1975 and "so Dreamy" part of a four songs single the "Roussos Phenomonon EP" released in the UK in 1976, which went to number 1, becoming the first EP ever to top the singles chart in the UK, which sold more than a million copies.Although Im only 22, Demis Roussos appears to all ages. My best song in this album is Far away. Demis Roussos proves in this song that he can sing in an arabic style, it also shows his multi-talent in singing in many different cultures. Far away remains a huge hit till this date after 25 years of release in the arab world. Other songs like Happy to be on an island in the Sun, This time it isnt Au- reviour and So dreamy are fantastic.

I give this album five stars for the song "Funny Man" alone. Demis first appeared to my brother and I three years ago. We knew then we were in the presence of a numinous being. Fear has since changed to awe and wonder.

A must have for people who likes easy listing music,best tracks1-4-5-9-11-17,and What can I say about the song FAR AWAY my favorite song of all time a great 2 minutes and 48 or 49 secondes song with mix greek arabic style which proves the great talent of this singer and the song it self was huge hit in the 70`s all over the world I don`t know about the states though cause not many people knows about it here but the song is just amazing and I`m quite sure that you`ll love this cd and especially the song FAR AWAY
