Reviews:

Another good import

While "Minerva" may be the better bargain of the two as far as unreleased material goes, "Hexagram" definitely has the better of the unreleased songs. "Lovers" was a b-side left off the 2003 self-titled, and is a hauting, atmospheric piece, that has some incredibly good lyrics. I don't really understand why this one was left off the album. It's so good, and in key with the rest of the songs on the record. Oh well guess everything can't make it. "Hexagram" and "Bloody Cape" both make appearances on here, although they were already on the self-titled. The cd is also enhanced, and contains the video for "Hexagram" which is cool to check out if you haven't seen it. If you're a Deftones completist then you'll probably want to get this to have, but if you're a casual fan you may just be satisfied with downloading "Lovers". I'm glad that the imports are now being released with b-sides, though. That makes the purchase even more worth it. Now if only "Teething" would have been on an import. Guess we can't have everything.

Bandaged Love

This is a wonderfully packaged cd single, and the artwork "bandaged Love" is just incredible to look at it (it also appears in the "Deftones" cd artwork). Hexagram is an incredible song, and in my own opinion the video did no justice for the piece, but if you liked the video it appears on this cd as well. Bloody Cape should have been released as a single; the song is unbelievable moving "God Help Me!" Lovers is another wonderful song that has a different approach then the usual Deftones material. All in all this a great cd single and well worth the 12 dollars unlike their last cd single Minerva.

Sick As Hell!

This cd is greeat for a single! Not only you get 2 songs thatre on the cd thatre awesome to begin with but 'Lovers' itself is worth the money!
