At such a cheap price, this record will satisfy everybody who likes DINO a little.All of these songs are of MEXICAN,SPANISH and FRENCH flavour.Being FRENCH, i had fun listening to the two songs from COLE PORTER'S CAN CAN:C'EST MAGNIFIQUE and I LOVE PARIS;two other songs made popular by EDITH PIAF:LA VIE EN ROSE and THE POOR PEOPLE OF PARIS ,very different from the originals;BESAME MUCHO and LA PALOMA have been recorded by countless singers;MIMI was first sung by MAURICE CHEVALIER in the 1932 movie LOVE ME TONIGHT;finally you have the so called cowboy songs that are at the beginning.Irresistible stuff!DEAN MARTIN was a good natured singer who didn't take himself seriously.

The songs were recorded at Reprise but I
think the sound would have been better if
it were recorded at Capitol. BUT!!! the CD
is still wonderful.
