"A Lady of Spain" -- NOT!

Commenting on the previous review, this disc will only have you thinking Connie's a lady of Spain if you think Spanish speakers all have flat, American accents. Connie's accent is bad. If you want to hear a non-Spanish speaker sing in Spanish, try Johnny Mathis, Nana Mouskouri or Sheena Easton. They all have less of an accent than Connie does, who sounds like she has no idea what she is singing and seems to have trouble getting her tongue around some of the sounds. Even better, get a disc by someone who can actually SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND the language. I recommend Vikki Carr, Rocio Durcal or Rocio Banquells. (I'm from Spain, by the way).

Another fine example as to why this lady reigns supreme

From start to finish, Connie embraces the Spanish language and these stellar performances like a true professional. Vaya Con Dios will move you to tears if you let it. The little Italian from Newark, NJ is so outstanding on this disc that one is left believing "and feeling" that she is a native of Spain. Perfect diction, perfect pitch, great phrasing and exceptional orchestrations. I fell in love with this lady all over again when I placed this on my CD player some 30 years after I originally owned the LP. Whether your fluent in Spanish or can't speak a word of it.....you will immediately be enraptured by her talent. She belongs to the world and the world is all hers.

Connie Francis sings Spanish & Latin American Favories

I once have the black plastic version many years ago. I love Connie's beautiful voice and every song in it. Unfortunately the label is out of stock now. Can anyone tell me where esle can I get this CD?
