A New Domestic Release of Millennium Prayer

The Millennium Prayer is an ideal blend of the traditional and spiritual aspects of the turning to a new age. A beautiful song. For those who are interested, the single has just been released on the Sparrow label. I find it superior to the import. The CD case is sturdier without those clear, brittle brackets that shatter the 1st time you remove a CD from the box. More, the sound of the new release has a cleaner, brighter quality. No fuzzy tones. This CD would make good gifts to commemorate the beginning of a new era. As usual, Cliff Richard delivers the goods!

This is some additional info for customers. In the reveiw "Five Stars - and a big question mark", the writer refers to Richard's No. 1 hits from the 60s thru the 80s. Actually, his first #1 was in 1959 and titled "Living Doll." In fact, he is the ONLY artist to have #1 hits in ALL of the first five R&R decades. A record, of course, which Cliff Richard will now always hold!

Godless radio stations tried to silence this song!

I am glad you offer this CD with the Millenium Prayer, the greatest prayer ever prayed. It is sad that many radio stations in Great Britain and Germany refused to play this song because it was "too religious". This is a fantastic song and any radio station that refuses to play it is cheating their audience out of a special experience. I wish more popular artists would have the guts to out themselves as Christian believers as Cliff Richard did. Praise God!

I loved this version of the Lord's Prayer the first time I heard it on the radio. It is very moving. I bought it for two of my friends and they loved this beautiful version also.

Oh Dear

First off, Im not American, but English, so maybe that affected my judgement, but i hate this song. First off, its massacering an old new year favourite. Cant Cliff think up anything new? Nothing is his own work here. Secondly, he's so unbelievably smug about the song. He said that it applied to all major religions, not just Christianity. how does it do this exactly? Would a christian find meaning in an Islamic Prayer written to music? no, of course not. Its so smug and so fundamentally wrong to say that the principle prayer of one religion would find any meaning to any other religions. Thats why religions are different!

This sonbg was recently voted the second worst pop song ever vby Channel Four Viewers in the top 100 worst pop songs ever program. It should have come top.

I know this will be unpopular on the American site, but i feel ithat this smug Christian song should be left to rot in history.

When I heard the Millennium Prayer on the Radio, I fell in love with it. This song has been the most requested song on our local Christian radio station. Great melody and words from The Lords Prayer makes ones hair stand up on the back of your neck. Worth a buy for you and your kids to listen to!!!
