Aznavour Magic

Although I have been researching my family genealogy and we're supposed to have "french" connections, I've not found them. My mother turned me on to Mireille Mathieu when I was a teenager and I thought she was great but never bought anything. When she told me about this man, some twenty years later, I thought I'd check it out. I am SO glad I did. What a treasure for france and everyone with taste for good music. He could be related to Mireille, they have the same phrasing when singing. I have no idea what the heck he's singing about but - I don't care. Like the commercial for Calgone, he just takes me away! And i don't care for male singers. I hope he never stops releasing CD's.

Aznavour makes so kind of well music and honesty that you can feel inmediatly . He seems to be connected with the muse everytime he decides to write .

A very fine compilation of songs

I have known Charles Aznavour's songs for a long time. He became very popular in Mexico many years ago singing "Et Pourtant", (Y por tanto) in Spanish. I am not familiar now with the french singers, but I think Charles Aznavour is still the best.
