It's so...inspiring!
It's so...inspiring
I love CC! They're my idols! This is the cd I play when I have `fun' tee hee hee.
Unfortunately it has been confiscated as I am now on death row charged with murdering my girlfriend. What was my motive? She was so beautiful I just had to kill her. Plus its economic since now I have:
A trendy new belt made from her vertebra
A pair of nipple earrings
A new blood goblet from her hollowed-out skull
A nice blond scalp..err wig
A new body suit
And enough stew to last me for months! It's great! Just add a bit a cumin, some cardamom pods and a cinnamon stick. Yum!
Anyhoo! Have fun listening to this great, educational and exciting cd kiddies!
let's clear it out
I'm really upset about the fact that some people write really bad reviews about the music they are not able to understand.
If you don't like -just ignore it! I don't write bad reviews for Rap music, for example,I just don't care!
You just can't imagine death metal world without Cannibal Corpse
.They will be probably still remembered 50 years from now as the
most important death metal band.
Now listen,if you want to get REAL Cannibal Corpse, get "The Bleeding".There's no sense to describe it,you gotta hear it.
It is one of the best death metal samples you can get.
The album that led CC in to a new direction
It's amazing that Cannibal Corpse could match the excellence of their previous releases with "The Bleeding." This was my eighth CC album I bought and until listening to it all the way through, I thought other reviewers were exaggerating how good it is. I was wrong. It would be wrong for me to compare it to the previous releases because I love them all. "The Bleeding" tones down the brutality slightly, but goes up many notches in technicality, which went a long way. Realistically, you can't compare "The Bleeding" with older albums because "Eaten Back to Life" and "Butchered at Birth" may have lacked slightly in technicality, but gave CC the reputation of being the most brutal Death Metal band that they're still known for. CC deserves the credit for the brutality and showing they can write extremely technical material. That's talent.
Barnes deserves praise because he gave up his voice to add to the brutality with his low guttural vocals. His voice was giving out in "The Bleeding." It shows, but he still got to a low range, which probably hurt like hell. A couple of CC's best solos can be heard on this album, especially in the track, "Return to Flesh." The first three tracks are classic. They always play them in concert, but I was shocked at how awesome the rest of the album is. Every song has variety, but they're all catchy with cool hooks, blinding speed, and even slower, brutal riffs. I wish tracks like "Pulverized," "She Was Asking For It," and "The Bleeding" were played in concerts more.
