Its ok.... i liked this britney spears the most i think

I was in middle school when Britney Spears came out, in the 7th grade, and that song "Baby One More Time " became real big, like the big hit and stuff.

Two friends in my class both had the cd, one had the pink cd edition, the other had the baby blue one...they were both guys, and not pansys either, they just thought she was real cute, as did i, i sorta had a little crush on her for a little while.



My friend let me barrow the cd , which was really cool, i took it home and put it in my sisters or brothers cd player and listened to all the songs and took out the cd booklet thing and looked at all the pictures and stuff. She was supposivly "flat chested" but i didnt really care, if you saw that smile of hers and her eyes, it didnt really matter, i mean, i dont really care much about that anyways, i mean, she had something.



Anyways, the cd is not a masterpiece, its the purest form of bubble gum pop or whatever their is, i mean, its Britney Spears first cd, its cute, shes cute, some of her songs have that pop power to them, like that "You Drive Me Crazy" one and "Baby One More Time " , she even redid a Sonnie & Cher song called "The Beat Goes On" ...if youre attracted to her and got a crush on her, you like the music a lot more i think, you suddenly become more open minded to every song, no matter how sad and girly it is.



I havent listened to this cd since like 7th grade, i miss the original Britney. But this cd is like a classic pop album of the 90's or something, ya know ? Will be one of those famous pop cds that you'll be saying stuff like "...hey, remember her??? :) "



Its not a bad album, it was an allright try by Britney Spears, and it is what it is, its cute, its fun , its cute again, its like "im 12 years old and my heart aches" type of music, but its not really immature stuff, its not bad,



...Its OK!

You should all be ashamed

That's right, I'm talking to you, Jive Records. It's companies like you that pave the way for talentless people to hog the glory, holding their hand and blindfolding them, assuring them they are special like a sympathetic mother. While you milk as much money as you can out of these clones, real artists with real talents are lurking in the background, suffering financially. The album is pure example of the downfall of good music, it's shallow, simplistic and just plain horrible. Are you so engulfed in money and sex appeal that you can't see the truth?



I'll give you one thing underground bands have earned that you'll never have: RESPECT
