Description: On their third full-length project, the crazy Colombian-Dominican rappers from Queens, NY, have set out to murder wack emcees and bury all nonbelievers. The Beatnuts lash out with their self-produced, party-starting beats and signature braggadocio (and usually X-rated) rhymes to commit a Musical Massacre. The flute-filled "Watch Out Now" and "Turn It Out" (featuring Greg Nice) follow the same vein as their 1997 club hit "Off The Books." However, the album's most interesting moment showcases a matured version of the Beatnuts. "Look Around" with Dead Prez finds the duo in a reflective and analytical state, proving that serious or silly, Pscho Les and Ju Ju will always be musical assassins. --Celine Wong

Reviews:

beatpoors poor about again i warned you already

well im sorry but after those 2 poor albums you would think they might produce somthing average well no guess what ladies and gentlemenjust another poor album by the beatpoors i think they go down in history as one of the worst hiphop bands next to,big brothers and b2k. you should be ashamed of even releasing this album you make me sick beatnuts and you cretins out there that bye this album make me even sicker you should all put your heads in a burning oven. listen to fugees, biggie, snoop, mase and nate dogg if you want good music

Lackluster lyrics+Mediocre beats=Mediocre Album

Lets face it. The Beatnuts do not specialize in lyrics. They are called the BEATnuts for a reason. In my Opinion, the Beatnuts should become producer and stick to producing, because when they get on the mic, well, let's just say it's not an enjoyable listen. The beats aren't too great either, and to get an above average review the beats would have to be fantastic on this one. The best tracks are those featuring other artists, with the exception of the single "Watch Out Now" which would make a better instramental, but a fantastic track nonetheless.

very unique hip hop

very good cd. there r some great guest appearances on here which really help out tha album. although it would still be amazing if it were them by themselves...i really enjoy thsi cd...has some HOT HOT HOT songs that u will keep playin over and over again. they have funny songs and also songs that make sense...but trust me youll keep this in tha cd changer 4 a long time...it never gets old...buy this!
