Things kick off with the heavy swinging 'Don't Make Me Wait Too Long', and the fast paced 'I'm Qaulified To Satisfy You', two incredible booty shaking numbers overflowing with The Maestros trademark gruff vocals and soulfull arangements. However the best moment here is the heavyweight TWELVE minute 'Your Love- So Good I Can Taste It', a true gem. The 1st half being a classical and beautiful instrumental composition that borders on being a hallucinogenic, the 2nd half a fonky groove with cool lyrics and an even cooler vocal from The Maestro.
'I Wanna Lay Down With You' has a spacey, dreamy sounding backdrop reminscent of his 2nd album 'Stone Gon', while the closing 'Now I'm Gonna Make Love To Ya' is a fun, upbeat number with powerful vocals and an almost celebratory sounding groove.
This album is an extremely well crafted work, full of the trademark orchestration, original riffs and tight muscianship that were a given on Barry Whites releases in the 70s. An essential album from an awesome body of work.
If White can't get anyone "in the mood," then that individual must be dead!
Play "Is This Watcha Wont?" and watch the fireworks explode!
