I love it. If you like big band, You will love this album. It's great.

Barry Manilow couldn't swing to save the world...

Good thing saving the would doesn't depend on weather Barry Manilow can swing. because we'd all be in deep sh*t. Manilow is not capable of swinging, he doesn't have a swingin' bone in his body. He sounds like he can't keep up with the ebergy of the band. Manilow is the last person on earth who should be singing with a big band. Barley Man Enough just doesn't pull this off. Too bad...

Big Band Swing + Barry Manilow = GREAT MUSIC!

I have enjoyed listening to Barry sing since the early 70's and he always seems to make the most out of a lyric and melody. I always feel as though he is singing directly to me because of his commitment to the song. He does a wonderful job interpreting these musical jewels from the past and breathes new-life into them. It is quite a challenge to do justice to these tunes but as always Barry has risen to the musical occasion and given us a great album to enjoy for many years to come. If you LOVE listening to GREAT CROONERS and Big Band Swing I would also recommend, Monte Procopio "Swingin' With Style" CD. He is another great crooner that can really SWING and deserves a listen. Buy both these CDs, you can't go wrong!
