Reviews:

Chock Full of Hits

With four top 20 hits, this would prove to be Manilow's most hit-laden studio album. (It also contains his last top five hit, "Can't Smile Without You.") After the relative failure of the title track as a single (a typical Manilow ballad), Arista elected to release the disco-laden "Copacabana," which resulted in a Top 10 hit and arguably Manilow's best-known composition. If the label had occasionally released more uptempo songs as singles rather than sticking with the ballads (they wouldn't put out another one until 1982's Four Seasons remake, "Let's Hang On"), his chart career might have been extended a bit.

In any case, the album certainly shows a wide variety of musical styles (including the move toward jazz-based material he'd push more forcefully in the following decade), and is certainly more varied than his previous studio album, This One's for You (which might as well have been called Still Trying to Get the Feeling Again).

A good place to start for Manilow fans who want to move beyond the hits sets.

Not His Best, But Still Okay

I do enjoy listening to it on occasion and it does bring back memories some good some bad, but its still okay.

BEST MANILOW ALBUM IN HISTORY!!

This is the album that caught my fancy forever. All you have to do is listen to every song carefully and you'll know what I'm talking about. Barry at his best ever, a million fans would agree on this.
