AC/DC=Great Band Ballbreaker=Bad Album

AC/DC is my all time faviorite band, no questions, hands down. They have great albums like Highway to Hell, Back in Black, Stiff Upper Lip etc. But this album plain out blows.. There are no memorable tracks except hard as a rock.

Blows away Stiff Upper Lip

At least on this album there are some head-banging rockers as opposed to the snooze fest that is Stiff Upper Lip. Forget about getting back to the "old days", they're long gone. So just take this album for what it is: a good effort at doing what they do best. Minimalist chords put together for some great riffs.

Its been thirty years folks.....don't hold your breath for another Back in Black.

Some VERY Good Concert Material

There is no such thing as a Bad ACDC album. Basically, the boys outdo themselves on every album, with every track.

The proof is in the tracks that Appear on NO BULL ( concert film)... the crowd loves the selections from this Album. And the Concert/Tour material that came out with the subsequent tour is great, with some brilliant artwork.

As is the case with any band, some tracks are liked more by some people, some less. However, the Young Brothers produce works so consistently that it is amazing that at least one album was not an outright turkey, but they produce, and wow do they give the fans what they want.

Play BALLBREAKER back to back with STIFF UPPER LIP, and even if you dislike it on the first go, if you have even the slightest rock bone in your body, thise album will definitely grow on you.
